Over the course of one year of training with Jenn, I lost 40 pounds and 15% body fat. I can deadlift 215 pounds. I can do three pullups in a row, dips, handstands and handstand pushups. I learned how to plan and log my meals to accommodate my liftestyle and my goals. I took Jenn's "Croptop Cardio" class in December of 2015 and was croptop ready by the summer of '16. Training with Jenn was really a life-changing decision.

I had been a member of the Equinox gym for years and always loved the group fitness classes. As I got older and was also diagnosed with osteoporosis, I began to avoid many of the classes due to their high impact and fast pace. There were many new instructors and I was simply not confident in their knowledge of fitness. Jenn came highly recommended and I decided to call her on Dec. 31st, 2016. My first words were “This is not a New Year’s resolution. I am interested in personal training with someone who is not only knowledgeable, but will do things in a safe manner.” That was the best call I ever made. She started me off slowly, and listened to my goals and fears. She worked with me to improve my balance and I can now hold both headstands and handstands, something I was petrified to do in the past. I can also climb a rope and do pullups. When I finally agreed to go to one of Jenn’s bootcamps, I held a plank position longer than anyone else- 3 minutes! Jenn is not only excellent in what she does, but she is energetic and has the biggest smile. I am already small but Jenn has truly made me Mighty!

​Jenn helped me go from doing basic bro bicep curls to bad boy deadlifts and sexy jump squats. Her methods for body fat reduction are cutting edge and highly effective. In the course of our training, I've also added back flips, handstand pushups,
muscle ups, ring work, acroyoga and rock climbing to my repertoire of special skills

I was always thin, but Jenn completely transformed my body to be strong. I have definition in my arms, abs, legs and back that I didn't see before. Everyone said how amazing my back looked in my wedding dress. That must be from all the pull-ups, squats, deadlifts and handstands I've been doing with Jenn over the past year. The great thing about Jenn is she doesn't give up on her clients, even when they feel like giving up on themselves.

​When I met Jenn, my goal was to be able to do the monkey bars for a Spartan Race. I was afraid to reach from one bar to the next. Jenn helped me get stronger and overcome my fear until I was able to soar across the monkey bars effortlessly. Then we mastered chin-ups, then pull-ups, and even handstands. Now we're working on handstand pushups! I feel great about how strong I have become and how much leaner and more defined my body is. Jenn can boost my energy even after a long day. Our workouts have consistently been the best part of my day and I actually find myself looking forward to the gym instead of dreading it anymore! After my heart surgery, Jenn helped ease me back into our workouts and I feel better than ever. I loved the look on my brother's face this summer when he saw me do a handstand and a pullup!

Jenn took the 'work' out of workout for me, and has whipped me into shape in under 6 months of working with her. What I love about Jenn is that she doesn't have a cookie cutter routine for all her clients, but instead tailors it to make sure I meet the goals I want for myself. Jenn inspires me to do things that I never thought I could (like handstands, deadlifts, and unassisted pullups... to speak nothing of a 250m row in under a minute!) and makes me want to push through to keep getting better. Meeting Jenn on the sidewalk with one of her clients (thanks Alexa!) was one of the best accidents ever!

“When I first spoke to Jenn, I told her I wanted to be fitter. I didn’t need to lose weight, but I wanted to feel strong and not soft. Well now I walk in to the gym and deadlift 245lbs with perfect form, and people notice that I am strong. I show up at family gatherings and people comment on how my muscles look. I do five pullups in a row, and my arms may feel like Jell-o, but then they recover and do it again. My abs were once a fantasy but now they actually help me swing my feet up to the bar, hold planks and maintain balance. I also discovered a sort of natural talent for handstands. Oh - and I lost 3.5% body fat in about seven month’s time. That’s pretty cool, too.”

Jenn is a dedicated trainer who helped me drop 12 pounds in less than 6 months. Her enthusiasm is so contagious, and she is there for you every step of the way. Whether you need diet advice, weekly homework, or just motivation, she is a hands-on trainer and mentor. I tell everyone "Jenn is my Jesus, and I am her disciple." Spread the good word!
